Grabbing someone off the street isn’t acceptable to her. Nor is testing someone unwillingly, not until they know they have the mix right.
 
“Test it on me.” It makes sense to her, is the only logical answer. “You’re the Doctor, you’re the one who needs to monitor the effects, and fix things if something goes wrong.”
